Hack recovery Linktree

Locked out of Linktree?
Here’s where to start.

We couldn’t find a Linktree page just for hacked accounts, so this is its official can’t-log-in help page, plus what to lock down afterward.

Watch for recovery scams. Never pay someone who messages you offering to get your account back, and be wary of any “support” phone number you find in a search. Real help starts on Linktree’s own site.

Locked out?
Try these in order.

Linktree doesn’t publish a hacked-account page that we could find, so these steps start from its sign-in help.

  1. Open Linktree’s help page

Go to linktr.ee in a browser you trust, typing it from this page rather than following a link from a message.

  2. What that page covers

Linktree describes this page as: “Why can’t I log in to my account?”

  3. Check the email and phone on the account

If the hacker changed the email address or phone number on your Linktree account, change them back. If you can’t, lock down the email account itself first, because that inbox can be used to reset everything else.

  4. Set a new password nobody has seen

Choose one you’ve never used anywhere else. If Linktree has an option to sign out every device or review recent logins, use it.

  5. If you’re still locked out

Look for a contact or support option in Linktree’s Help Center, starting from the page above. Ignore anyone who messages offering to get the account back for a fee.

Still logged in?
Lock it down now.

If you can still get in, do these before the hacker notices.

  • Change your password to one you’ve never used anywhere else.
  • Review where you’re signed in and sign out every device or session you don’t recognize, if Linktree shows them.
  • Check the email address and phone number on the account, and the email account behind it.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication if Linktree offers it.
  • Undo anything you didn’t do: posts, messages, payment or payout details, and linked apps.
  • Change the password anywhere you reused it.

Never go through
this alone again.

  • Connect through the platform you already use. Tap Connect and approve it inside Instagram. No passwords.
  • Alerts by text and in the app. The moment something looks wrong, you hear about it.
  • Recovery, or you get paid. If we can’t recover your account, you get paid up to $25,000.

Founding price through December 31. Protection starts with Instagram on December 1, 2026.
